Carissa founded Better Together Golf in 2020. She is passionate about creating spaces within the game dedicated to making golf more inclusive and social. She specializes in creating programs that foster culture and community, particularly for women and juniors.

Carissa grew up in Boise, Idaho, and played Division I golf at the University of Montana. With years of experience in both competitive and coaching environments, she now brings her passion for accessible, women-centered instruction to Better Together Golf.

She lives in Bonney Lake, WA with her husband and two kids—and she still gets excited every time someone says “I’ve never played golf before, but I want to learn.”

Golf can feel intimidating—especially if you’re new, female, or don’t see yourself reflected in the culture. Better Together Golf was created to change that.

We believe that golf should be welcoming, community-driven, and fun—whether you’re stepping onto the course for the first time or planning your 10th tournament. Through instruction, events, and travel experiences, we create space for golfers to grow their skills and their confidence.
